David Shnitzer began his career in the financial services industry over 20 years ago as a financial advisor with American Express Financial Advisors. In 2005, the financial advisor division of American Express was spun off as Ameriprise Financial. David became a Branch Manager in Westborough, MA in 2010. In 2015, he was asked to lead the Boston Complex and took on the role of Complex Director in Boston.
In 2022, David decided to devote all his time to working with his clients and stepped down from his leadership role with Ameriprise Financial. In 2024, David left Ameriprise Financial to launch Care Private Wealth, a supported independent team practice within Lincoln Investment. David is a CERTIFIED FINANCIAL PLANNER™ specializing in financial planning for ultra-high-net-worth families.
David lives in Wellesley, MA. He is married to Shoshana and has two wonderful daughters, Ayla and Eliana. The family loves to travel together, creating everlasting memories from once-in-a-lifetime experiences. David enjoys coaching youth soccer and basketball for his daughters' teams. He is also a co-founder of ONETrack International, a recognized 501(c)(3) organization that promotes a transition-to-home approach to addressing the global orphan crisis.
